In the spring of 2021, the community of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, was struck by a tragedy that left a family grieving and a case unresolved. On April 23, 2021, Johntay Omar Weathers, a 28-year-old male, was brought to Roper Hospital with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead.
