In the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, the afternoon of April 14, 2020, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 15-year-old D'Anthoni Brown. A Black male, Brown was fatally shot around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of 16th Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard.
