Brandon Van Dyke, a 30-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on February 2, 2022, in a shooting incident at The Landings at Forest Acres apartment complex. The Richland County coroner identified Van Dyke as the victim, who was found with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to them at a local hospital. This incident marked the first homicide in Forest Acres since 2015.
