In the winter of 2022, the life of 30-year-old Brandon Van Dyke, a male resident of Columbia, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On the evening of February 2nd, officers responded to a report of a shooting at The Landings at Forest Place Apartments on Covenant Road. There, they discovered Van Dyke inside a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
