In the quiet of a late April weekend in North Charleston, South Carolina, the lives of two young men were tragically cut short. On Sunday, April 24, 2022, 16-year-old Kay’sean Jones and 19-year-old Elijah Amoni Tyre Jefferson were found deceased, victims of gun violence. The Charleston County Coroner's Office later confirmed the identities of both young men, casting a somber shadow over the community.
