In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 9, 2022, the life of 24-year-old Alan Philpeon Johnson, III, was tragically cut short in North Charleston, South Carolina. A male of Sumter, Johnson was a beloved son and an honor student who had overcome significant adversity in his youth to earn a scholarship to Morris College. He was known for his fun-loving and kind personality.
