In the quiet town of Newberry, South Carolina, a weekend in late spring of 2022 was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 16-year-old Mykain Davis. The young man, a student at Newberry High School, was fatally shot around midnight on Sunday, May 22nd, on Wise Street. His death marked the beginning of a tragic sequence of events that would see three other teenagers lose their lives in the same neighborhood within hours.
