Malik Kluttz, a 23-year-old from Irmo, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2019. His body was discovered on the side of Interstate 26, near the Laurens and Newberry County line, around 7:30 a.m. that Sunday morning^1^. The Laurens County Chief Deputy Coroner, Vickie Cheek, identified Kluttz and noted that he appeared to have suffered two gunshot wounds, although the coroner did not immediately confirm this pending an autopsy^1^.
