In the summer of 2022, the life of 39-year-old Barry Redding, a Black man from Aiken, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On the night of July 2nd, Aiken County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of shots fired at the Days Inn on Columbia Highway North. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene in room 229.
