Scott Foster, the 49-year-old founder and owner of Rockstar Cheer and Dance in Greenville, South Carolina, was found dead on August 22, 2022, in his vehicle at Paris Mountain State Park. The Greenville County Coroner's Office ruled his death a suicide, caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Foster's death came amid a growing scandal involving allegations of sexual abuse within the cheerleading community he was a part of.
