Death by Force

On November 26, 2023, in Greenville County, South Carolina, 57-year-old Erin Mitchell Hitt was found deceased inside a residence on Alco Street. Deputies responded to a 911 call around 1:40 p.m. reporting an attempted break-in at the location. Upon arrival, they discovered Hitt with multiple gunshot wounds and a sharp force injury to the neck; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
