On a late Saturday night in September 2022, a violent encounter on a road in Lexington County, South Carolina, ended the life of 22-year-old Harold Lord Peak III. He was a passenger in a red Kia Soul, driven by his brother, when the vehicle was suddenly riddled with bullets. The brothers were on Princeton Road, between Ramblin Road and Edmund Highway, when the barrage of gunfire erupted. Harold was struck by multiple gunshots and died at the scene.
