In the small community of Longs, South Carolina, the life of 51-year-old Bobby Liles was tragically cut short on December 29, 2022. Liles, a male resident of Longs, was fatally shot at a home located on Jefferson Road.

According to the Horry County Deputy Coroner, Liles was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. The Horry County Police Department promptly began an investigation into the incident, treating it as a homicide.
