Anadai Keel, a 29-year-old Black man, was shot while sitting in his car just after midnight on Saturday, September 27, 2025, during an event at the North Myrtle Beach Drag Strip off Star Bluff Road near Longs in Horry County, South Carolina. He did not survive his injuries, and the case was immediately taken up by the Horry County Police Department as a homicide investigation.
