In the quiet community of Longs, South Carolina, the life of 22-year-old Jamey DeSean Lewis was tragically cut short on the evening of March 3, 2014. Lewis sustained fatal injuries from multiple gunshot wounds in a violent encounter that unfolded around 7 p.m. on Star Bluff Road. First responders and police were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of gunfire, and upon arrival, they began an investigation into the grim event.
