Robert Cosgrove "Bobby" Greenlease Jr., a six-year-old boy from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically kidnapped and murdered on September 28, 1953. Bobby was the son of Robert Cosgrove Greenlease Sr., a wealthy Cadillac dealer. On the day of his abduction, Bobby was taken from his school, Notre Dame de Sion, by a woman posing as his aunt. This woman was Bonnie Heady, who, along with her accomplice Carl Hall, orchestrated the kidnapping with the intent of demanding a ransom.
