In the summer of 1978, the lives of a young Michigan couple, 18-year-old Kimberlin Mills, a white female, and her boyfriend James "Jimmy" Hendricks, were tragically cut short. Their journey, believed to be a fresh start in Texas, ended violently, leaving a mystery that would linger for decades. On June 17, 1978, their remains were discovered, but not together.
