Walter Simon Notheis Jr., better known by his stage name Walter Scott, was a prominent American singer who fronted the band Bob Kuban and The In-Men. Born on February 7, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, Scott gained fame in the 1960s with the hit song "(Look Out For) The Cheater." However, his life took a tragic turn when he disappeared on December 27, 1983, from St. Peters, Missouri. His body was discovered on April 10, 1987, in a cistern, having been hog-tied and shot in the chest.
