On May 3, 1992, the quiet routine of a Sunday afternoon in Saint Charles, Missouri, was shattered by the discovery of a violent crime at the Bogey Hills Plaza. Nancy Christine Kitzmiller, a 24-year-old White female, was working alone at Boot Village, a western wear store located at 2079 Zumbehl Road. Nancy was a graduate of Fort Zumwalt High School and Oklahoma State University, known for her love of soccer and horses, and was preparing to start a new career with the Defense Mapping Agency.
