On the afternoon of Sunday, October 12, 2014, a violent incident claimed the life of 37-year-old African American male Christopher Mansaw in Kansas City, Missouri. Standing outside a residence in the 3000 block of College Avenue, Mansaw was approached by a group of several males around 1:30 p.m. During the encounter, one of the individuals produced a firearm and shot him.
