Terry Dale Dalton, a 64-year-old resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was found dead on November 8, 2014. His body was discovered in Elk's Lake, north of Cape Girardeau. Initially, the circumstances surrounding his death were considered suspicious, prompting an investigation by local authorities. However, it was later determined that Dalton had died by suicide.
