In the winter of 2015, the small town of Washburn, Missouri, was shaken by a brutal crime that claimed the lives of two family members and tore a young family apart. On January 5, 2015, 29-year-old Casey Lee Brace, a female, was tragically killed in her grandfather's home. Her life was cut short in a violent encounter that also resulted in the death of her 76-year-old grandfather, Herbert Townsend.
