James Williams

James Monroe Williams, a 30-year-old Black male from Kansas City, Missouri, died on January 18, 2015, after violence found him in the dark hours before dawn. In the early morning—around 4:57 a.m.—police were dispatched to the 11700 block of Fuller Road on a reported shooting. When officers arrived, Williams was located suffering from what was described as an apparent gunshot wound, and was rushed from the scene to an area hospital, where Williams later died from the injuries.
