Asaan H. Williams, an 18-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on March 13, 2015. He was shot and killed in Seven Oaks Park, located near 38th Street and Kensington Avenue, around 6:45 p.m. on that fateful evening. Despite the presence of nearly two dozen people in the park at the time of the shooting, witnesses had dispersed by the time police arrived, leaving investigators with limited immediate information.
