On April 22, 2024, 13-year-old Trevion Laurenz Stewart was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Quincy Avenue, where officers found Trevion suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
