In the early morning hours of August 26, 2019, Travis L. Turner, a 36-year-old male, was shot and killed in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred on the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue, where police responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Turner in front of a residence; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
