On January 28, 2020, 48-year-old male LaVance Ellis, Sr. was discovered suffering from fatal gunshot wounds in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident came to light around 11:00 a.m. when authorities received a call from a woman reporting that a wounded man had arrived in a vehicle at a car wash located near the intersection of 44th Street and Prospect Avenue.
