LaVance Ellis Sr., aged 48, tragically passed away on January 28, 2020, in Kansas City, Missouri. According to reports, Ellis was the victim of a homicide that occurred near East 44th Street and Prospect Avenue. On the day of the incident, Kansas City police were dispatched to the scene following a call about a gunshot victim arriving at a car wash in a vehicle. Upon arrival, emergency medical responders pronounced Ellis dead at the scene.
