Officers from the Kansas City Police Department rushed to the scene around 11:45 p.m., where they discovered a chaotic aftermath.
Upon arrival, first responders found Judon unresponsive on the front porch of a residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of emergency personnel to render aid, he had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The violence of the evening extended beyond a single victim. In the same incident, an adult female was also struck by gunfire. Emergency medical crews treated her at the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, and she was expected to survive the ordeal.
