Josette Beeks, a 46-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on May 3, 2015, due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred late at night outside a liquor store near 9th and Indiana Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing six to nine gunshots and saw a man fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting.
