In the summer of 2015, a young woman's life was tragically cut short in Saint Louis, Missouri. Shayla Carter, a 25-year-old female, was killed on June 2, 2015, in a devastating act of gun violence that also claimed the life of 26-year-old Ricos Boyd. The incident unfolded in the Greater Ville neighborhood, leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of two of its members.
