Woman found murdered in the trunk of her own car
Mary Beth "Pixie" Grismore, aged 27, disappeared from her home in Marshall, Indiana, on February 22, 1978. Mary Beth, a newlywed at the time, was in the process of moving back to Iowa with her husband when she vanished. Her body was discovered on May 3, 1978, in the trunk of her blue Ford Thunderbird in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in Whitehall, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus.
