A 16 year old Burger Chef employee is kidnapped and murdered
On November 17, 1978, Daniel Davis, age 16, and three other young employees were abducted from a Burger Chef restaurant in Speedway, Indiana, during a robbery. Their bodies were found two days later in a wooded area in Johnson County. Daniel and Ruth Shelton were shot, while their colleagues Jayne Friedt and Mark Flemmonds were killed by other means.
