Jayshawn Jamal Walker, an 18-year-old resident of Speedway, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2020. The incident occurred at The Legend at Speedway Apartments, located in the 2200 block of Sumter Street. According to the Speedway Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. and found Walker suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
