In a tragic turn of events on a December evening, a planned meeting over a marijuana deal ended in bloodshed, claiming the life of 20-year-old Warren Edward Banks II in Kansas City, Missouri. On December 16, 2016, Banks, a Black male, was shot and killed inside a vehicle in the 7700 block of East 52nd Street. Another man in the vehicle with Banks was also shot and sustained serious injuries but ultimately survived the violent encounter.
