Dominique D. Byers, a 23-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 28, 2017. Byers was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Dirty Bird Bar & Grill located on Blue Ridge Boulevard. The incident occurred late at night, and Byers was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
