Brian Grimmett, a 27-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on May 1, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 a.m., in the 3600 block of Benton Boulevard. Officers on patrol in the area reported hearing several gunshots and subsequently found Grimmett, who had been shot three times, lying in front of a house.
