On the morning of May 18, 2017, the routine calm of the Indian Creek Trail in Kansas City, Missouri, was shattered when a cyclist discovered a body lying on the pavement between Wornall and Holmes roads. The victim was identified as Michael Darby, a 61-year-old White male and the co-owner of the popular Coach’s Bar & Grill.
