Jabari Ellis, an 18-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 7, 2022, in a shooting incident. The shooting occurred around noon at E. 87th Street and James A. Reed Road in Raytown, a suburb of Kansas City. Jabari Ellis and another 18-year-old, Xaivon McKinzey, were both victims of this violent act. Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene, while McKinzey succumbed to his injuries at a hospital shortly after.
