In the spring of 2017, a young man's life was cut tragically short in Kansas City, Missouri. Lorenzo Londell Mitchell, an 18-year-old male, was fatally wounded in a double shooting on the evening of May 27, 2017. The incident, which also left another man with serious injuries, unfolded in the 2100 block of Kansas Avenue.
