In the early morning hours of September 16, 2017, law enforcement officials in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a parking structure located in the downtown district following reports of gunfire. Officers arrived at the scene near 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around 2:45 a.m., where they located a vehicle parked within the garage.
