In the quiet town of Ellington, Missouri, the autumn of 2017 was shattered by a brutal act of violence that claimed the lives of an elderly couple. James Rogers Nance, an 86-year-old male, and his 72-year-old wife, Janet, were fatally shot in their home on October 18th. The incident, which also left a 73-year-old female friend critically injured, began as a robbery that tragically escalated to a double homicide.
