James Rogers Nance, aged 86, and his wife Janet, aged 72, were tragically murdered on October 18, 2017, at their home near Ellington, Missouri. The couple was shot to death during a robbery that also left a 73-year-old family friend critically injured. The friend, who was shot twice in the head, miraculously survived the attack^1^.
