On December 11, 2017, in Hazelwood, Missouri, 29-year-old Allen Lee Runnoe tragically lost his life due to an accidental shooting. His younger brother, 24-year-old Daniel Runnoe, was demonstrating "tactical maneuvers" with a firearm when it discharged, striking Allen in the head. Hazelwood Police Chief Gregg Hall confirmed the incident, noting that the shooting occurred during the demonstration.
Following the incident, Daniel Runnoe was charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter.
