In the early morning hours of November 14, 2015, the quiet of a Hazelwood, Missouri neighborhood was broken by violence that left a young man dead. Responding to a call shortly after midnight, police officers arrived at the 8500 block of Steve Avenue to a grim discovery. There in a driveway lay the body of 24-year-old Calvin Lamar Sharp. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
