Cynthia K. Rudolph, aged 58, was found dead on December 13, 2017, in Springfield, Missouri. The tragic incident occurred inside a recreational vehicle (RV) near the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Atlantic Street. Alongside her, Phillip Rice, aged 62, was also found deceased. Both individuals had apparent gunshot wounds, leading authorities to suspect a murder-suicide.
The Springfield Police Department responded to a "check the well-being" call around 2 p.m. on the day of the incident.
