In the winter of 2018, the life of 19-year-old Elizabeth Richards, a young mother from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically cut short. On the morning of Saturday, January 6th, Elizabeth was found dead in a south Kansas City home from a gunshot wound. The devastating discovery was made by the parents of her ex-boyfriend, who had come home to find her body. Their shared two-year-old son was found unharmed nearby.
