In March of 2018, the body of 27-year-old Christopher Austin was discovered in Wildwood, Missouri, bringing a violent end to the young man's life. He was found on a Sunday morning, having been fatally shot. The discovery launched an investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department that would soon lead them to a suspect.
