Rovon Blocker, a 20-year-old former high school football star from Columbia, Missouri, was fatally shot on the night of July 7, 2018. Blocker, who had been a standout defensive lineman at Battle High School and had signed with Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, was found with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in Columbia, and authorities quickly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
