In a quiet Raytown, Missouri neighborhood, a grim discovery was made on the evening of September 30, 2018. Three men, including 57-year-old Christopher Bogert, were found deceased in the front yard of a home in what authorities would soon describe as a murder-suicide. Raytown police were initially called to the residence in the 11000 block of East 74th Terrace after a 911
caller reported hearing gunshots and seeing three men lying in the front of the house. Upon their arrival, officers found the three men, all of whom had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The investigation was subsequently handed over to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
