On a cold December morning in 2018, the community of Calverton Park, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, was jolted by a grim discovery. On December 10th, police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Barto Drive and New Florissant Road to investigate a Honda Accord that was parked illegally. Inside the vehicle, they found the body of 41-year-old DeAndre Lee Moore Jr. He had been fatally shot.
