Marquise Damontay Fleming-Douglas, an 18-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2018. Fleming was preparing to spend the Christmas holiday with his family and two young children when he was fatally shot. According to reports, Fleming was sitting in a silver Mustang with three other individuals near 22nd and Hardesty in Kansas City when an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle.
