Edward L. Palmer Jr., a 34-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on March 9, 2019, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Palmer was fatally shot following an altercation with the suspect, Charles A. Selvy Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Cape Girardeau. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, and Palmer succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
